Inventory Controller / Van Driver

Here at Impact Recruitment, we are hiring an Inventory Controller for one of our clients based across the South Coast. This role will be servicing various sites between Southampton, Portsmouth, Bournemouth, and Brighton. You will be required to carry out site orders and replenishment deliveries to different accounts and given locations. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and be strong customer facing.

Due to the insurance required you need to be over 21 and have a full UK driving licence.

Salary: £27,000 + 10% shift allowance

Location: South Coast and West Sussex

Hours: 4am - 2pm (Mon - Wed) 4am - 1:30pm (Thu)

Days: Monday - Thursday

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate the company van to transport supplies to various locations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate deliveries, adhering to established schedules.
  • Collaborate with staff for efficient unloading and distribution of supplies.
  • Complete mileage forms of hire vehicles and report any damages.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, tracking stock movements.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to manage reordering and replenishment processes.
  • Inspect delivered products for quality and quantity accuracy.
  • Report any issues or discrepancies promptly to the relevant departments.
  • Keep detailed records of deliveries, including delivery notes and inventory reports.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and promptly.
Requirements
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Confident performing in a customer facing role.
  • Over 21 for insurance purposes.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage own workload.
  • A willingness to travel to a variety of sites across the South Coast.
