Collins Aerospace is looking for Skilled Vacuum Braze/FurnMode Operator to join our Operations Department within our HS Marston facility in Wolverhampton. If you are interested we would love to hear from you!

What You Will Do

The successful candidate will be responsible for operation of 12 vacuum furnaces both steel and aluminum brazing.

Responsibilities
  • A good knowledge of Vacuum furnace brazing control systems and heat exchanger production would be an advantage however training would be given.
  • The candidate would be required to work on their own initiative conducting regular TPM checks, leak up checks and SAT check procedures.
  • Inspection of Post/Pre braze Matrix Heat exchangers and components.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet project goals and deadlines.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives such as ACE activities (5S TPM Turnbacks and Clinics).
  • Maintain traceability of materials and adhere to quality control standards.
  • Ensure the workspace remains clean, organized and compliant with company standards.
  • Adhere to all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) requirements.

Shifts

This role requires flexibility to work in rotating shifts:

  • Morning: 6:00 AM – 1:45 PM (Monday–Thursday) and 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Friday).
  • Afternoon: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Monday–Thursday) and 12:15 PM – 5:15 PM (Friday).
  • Nights: 8:30 PM – 6:15 AM (Monday–Thursday).
