Job description
About Us

At Lola’s, we’re here for all of life’s special moments with our handmade cakes, cupcakes, brownies and more.

Even as we’ve grown, our ethos hasn’t changed: we use only the best ingredients and bake fresh every single day.

Now, we’re looking for a UX Designer to take our online customer experience to the next level.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the full user journey across our digital platforms, from the first click through to checkout. This isn’t just about making things look good, it’s about making them work beautifully too.

Your focus will be on designing simple, intuitive experiences that help our customers find and order what they want with ease. You’ll use research and testing to guide decisions, making sure every improvement we launch is backed by real insights.

Working closely with Product Managers, Developers, Marketing and E-Commerce, you’ll play a key role in shaping how customers experience Lola’s through our multiple digital channels.

What You’ll Do
  • Run user research, with tools like maze, testing and A/B experiments to guide design decisions
  • Design end-to-end journeys, from early wireframes to final polished visuals
  • Track performance and customer feedback, then use it to improve the experience
  • Champion accessibility so our website is easy to use for everyone
  • Update and maintain our existing design system that keeps our look and feel consistent
  • Collaborate with developers to make sure designs are delivered to a high standard
  • Keep an eye on new tools, trends and ideas to bring fresh thinking into our digital experience
About You
  • 5+ years working in UX or Product Design for web and mobile
  • A portfolio that shows how you solve problems with design, not just how things look!
  • Confident using Figma and prototyping tools
  • Comfortable planning and running usability tests and research sessions
  • Strong visual design skills and an eye for detail
  • Used to working with product managers, developers and other teams to get projects delivered
  • Passionate about creating enjoyable, user-friendly digital journeys
  • Bonus points if you’ve worked in e-commerce or food, retail or lifestyle brands
Why Join Us
  • Play a big part in shaping the digital future of Lola’s
  • See your work used by thousands of customers every day
  • Work with a friendly, collaborative team where ideas are welcomed
  • And of course, enjoy plenty of cake along the way
  • Hybrid role, Office location based in NW10 London
