Overview

Practice Nurse – Maternity Cover ASAP Start – 6 months - Suffolk

Dream Medical is currently working with a GP practice that is looking for a locum practice nurse to cover maternity leave. You will be part of a team of Practice Nurse, Health Care Assistant and Phlebotomist in a busy rural practice. The ideal candidate will be proficient in chronic disease management with a developed interest in diabetes.

Responsibilities

• Diabetic patient monitoring
• Long-term condition monitoring (IHD, hypertension, diabetes, asthma, COPD)
• Childhood immunisations/travel consultation & vaccination
• Cervical sampling
• Pill & HRT checks
• Standard dressings/Suture removal
• ECGs
• Venepuncture
• Injections

Hours

The role is minimum 28 hours per week plus sickness cover.
