Following our recent organisational growth we are happy to announce two role openings to join our forward thinking team in Shropshire Telford and Wrekin supporting the delivery of the GP Out of Hours and Care Coordination services.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Urgent Care team for two Base Team Leads. This role will provide vital support to our Urgent Care service working as one of our dedicated team of Urgent Care Base Team Leads across our operational bases in Telford, Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth, Ludlow and Whitchurch.
Previous experience of working within an operational role within a healthcare setting is desired.
Based in our Telford Headquarters the Urgent Care Base Team Lead plays a pivotal role in providing a professional and responsive central point of reference to health and social care professionals as well as carrying out other support functions as directed by the Urgent Care teams at both the Call Centre and OOH bases.
Working as a single point of contact for health and social care professionals you will provide guidance and assistance to achieve the required outcome for our patients and clients. You will support the Urgent Care Team in providing a quality and professional interface between external and internal stakeholders in the delivery of our services along with ensuring our bases are fully maintained and quality checks are completed and documented to ensure compliance.
Please note that as our operation runs around the clock 365 days/year you’ll need to bring a flexible approach to working hours as our rolling shift patterns include days/weekends overnights and Bank Holidays.
The set shift pattern is available on request mainly between Monday and Friday with some occasional out-of-hours work requirements.
