A multinational automotive company seeks an undergraduate for a placement in their Corporate Audit team in Bracknell, UK. The role involves assisting in audit preparations, optimizing business processes, and maintaining audit procedures. Candidates should have strong communication skills and attention to detail. The position allows flexibility in work hours and the option to work from home two days a week.
The purpose of Corporate Audit (CA) is to support the Honda Motor Europe (HME) C.O & President in improving Honda’s overall European business as well as for the Africa Middle East (AME) business operation, by providing independent objective assurance of the adequacy of control and the management of risk within HME, it’s branches and subsidiary companies in the EAME region. It helps HME & AME to accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve effectiveness of risk management controls & governance process. The CA function aims to challenge and test current operational processes, champion best practice and be a catalyst for business improvement.
In addition, the audit division may also undertake specific audit assignments and investigations, including consultancy, supplier and outsourced business partner reviews.

At Honda we embrace inclusion in our various policies, so whilst our contracts state that the hours are as required to fulfil the role with a minimum of 35 hours per week, we offer flexibility for when you work. The regular office hours are 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday with a half hour lunch break & 08:00 – 13:00 on a Friday. However, we offer flexibility of when you work with our daily flex-time start of between 07:00 and 11:00 providing that there is no business requirement.
Whilst there is no contractual right to work from home, the flexibility we offer is that you can request to work from home 2 days per week, again providing there is no business requirement to attend the office.
