Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Gynaecology at band 6 level.
  • Experience in scanning patients with early pregnancy or gynaecological emergencies.
  • Demonstrate audit use to improve service quality.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a high quality diagnostic and treatment service in gynaecology.
  • Act as a resource for clinical and administrative teams.
  • Contribute to reports and clinical audits of practice.

Ultrasound scanning skills

Counseling training
Research participation understanding

Education

Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
Recognised ultrasound qualification in early pregnancy and gynaecology
Teaching or Mentorship course
Evidence of continuing professional development
Relevant nursing/health related degree or willingness to undertake
Independent Prescriber or willingness to undertake
