Key Accountabilities:
  • The Project Analyst will be a key member of the UK COE, working alongside the UK Project Accounting team (Project Billers for UK confidential clients).
  • Support specific UK Division(s) with project setup tasks in Oracle, including setting up key members, reviewing contracts, and other Oracle project setup activities not auto-populated from EcoSys.
  • Review work breakdown structures for compatibility with automatic billing.
  • Identify projects suitable for rates or T&M automatic billing.
  • Populate billing details to enable automatic billing, based on project manager input or contract billing schedules.
  • Set up 'bill to addresses' at the project level.
  • Participate in AtkinsRéalis financial improvement initiatives.
  • This role initially reports to the Global Process Team for Order to Cash and will transition to the UK Centre of Excellence after OneERP implementation.
Professional & Technical Skills:
  • Experience in accounting or project controls within a sizeable international company.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with senior colleagues.
  • Experience in consultancy, especially engineering, is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards and Oracle EBS is beneficial.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and demonstrate ownership and results-driven attitude.
  • Attention to detail, teamwork, positive attitude, and strong planning and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Recognized accounting qualification – AAT, or studying towards ACCA/CIMA.
