Job description

A freelance opportunity exists for Senior Civil Structural design Engineer with the structural analysis and design of, in particular, temporary works.

You will be working within a multi-disciplinary team and responsible for the delivery of civil and structural analysis, calculations, reports and specifications.

This is an outside IR35 opportunity where the candidate can work from home.

Duties

• Communicate designs effectively to the BIM teams.
• Effective communication with other disciplines and construction teams.
• Occasionally visit sites, to conduct design reviews and client meetings.
• Support and aide more junior team members.
• Confident and authoritative in front of clients.

Requirements

• Minimum BEng Civil or Structural Engineering
• Chartership with ICE or IStructE preferred
• Competent and proficient in producing temporary works designs for industrial type projects.
• Confident structural design engineer with UK experience
• CSCS
