Overview

Trusts and Grants Manager
£37,312.00 per annum (FTE)
Full time or part time considered
Hybrid working with minimum 1 day per week in the Loughborough Office

Role and responsibilities
  • Lead the development and authoring of bids and proposals to Trusts and Foundations and other grant makers.
  • Identify funding opportunities, collaborate with colleagues to prepare comprehensive and compelling bids and proposals, and provide regular programme reports to funders as required.
  • Ensure proposals align with our priorities, strategic goals and mission.
  • Steward relationships with current and new potential funders; prepare tailored proposals, presentations and engagement plans to inspire support and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Develop collaborative bids with community groups and partner organisations; attend funder workshops and events; keep abreast of fundraising trends to maximise future opportunities.
  • Manage donor reporting schedules, track income against targets and ensure funders receive high-quality, timely reports.
  • Support the development of new income streams such as individual giving, events and partnerships, laying strong foundations for sustainable growth.
Qualifications and requirements

For this high-profile role, you must have proven experience of successful bid writing and securing funding from a range of sources, including Trusts and Foundations. Effective at donor engagement and relationship management, you will bring a strong understanding of fundraising strategies and trends, alongside excellent project management, interpersonal and communication skills.
