A healthcare organization is seeking a Trust Grade Doctor at IMT3+ level in Rheumatology. This fixed-term position covers potential training gaps for up to 12 months, commencing October 2025. Candidates must have full GMC registration, current ALS certification, and a minimum of six months of NHS experience. The successful post holder will work at StR level within the Rheumatology team at York. The post holder will be competent in General Medicine and engage in all duties incumbent in that role. The postholder’s primary responsibility is the day-to-day care of patients under the care of the Consultants in their team. The incumbent will receive instruction in procedures and help with management from senior colleagues. They will be expected to know the patients in detail and present them on ward rounds/handovers.

This is not an approved training position; however there are opportunities described below.

You will have a designated clinical supervisor and opportunities for support by trained mentors. Regular timetabled teaching sessions will take place to support service-based learning.
