A major healthcare institution in the UK is seeking resident doctors in Thoracic Surgery. Candidates should have completed Core Training and possess the intercollegiate MRCS along with a minimum of 12 months of cardiothoracic experience. This post is primarily intended for resident doctors in Thoracic Surgery who have completed Core Training (or equivalent) and are either working towards a UK national training grade post in Thoracic or towards a CESR/FRCS application. The post does not carry SAC or college approval for training but we are a recognised training centre with an active commitment to train all resident grade doctors. It is essential that the candidate has passed the intercollegiate MRCS, or is able to demonstrate equivalent competencies, and has a minimum of cardiothoracic experience of 12 months as an SHO/Core trainee grade.
