Applicants are invited for an enthusiastic and academically motivated Clinical Research Fellow to join our Adult Critical Care Unit as part of our expanding research and development strategy. The Royal London ACCU provides exposure to a diverse and high-acuity patient cohort, supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team committed to clinical excellence and innovation.
This fellowship is designed to promote and develop research capability in Intensive Care Medicine. The post holder will join the Critical Care and Perioperative Medicine research group, an internationally recognised team working across a broad range of fields including infection, genomics, metabolism, functional outcomes, sarcopenia, inflammation, acute kidney injury, peri-operative care, and trauma.
Alongside your research activities, you will participate in clinical duties on the Adult Critical Care Unit under consultant supervision, contributing to the admission, assessment, and day-to-day management of critically ill patients., You will have the opportunity to contribute to ongoing projects and shape your own academic interests, supported by experts in bench science, epidemiology, clinical trials, clinical physiology, mixed-methods research, and machine learning.
