Step into the role of a Transportation Segment Manager EMEAI (m/w/d) and become a key driver in defining, implementing, leading, and executing the strategy and market plans for the Transportation Segment. As a segment leader, you will provide strategic direction and leadership for teams in Sales, Business Development, R&D, and Product Management within the EMEAI region, aligned with overall segment objectives.

This position can be based anywhere within the EMEAI region.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Chemistry, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • 7–10 years of B2B sales experience and 2-3 years in marketing
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the coatings industry
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles (6–12 months, multi-site, approval-driven)
  • Travel requirements: 50%+
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and proficiency in at least one additional European language
  • Experience with Salesforce is preferred

  • Refine the strategic plan annually based on data, market trends, disruptor analysis, and success metrics
  • Execute growth initiatives, align stakeholders, and support organic and inorganic strategies
  • Strengthen customer and industry relationships to gain insights and influence the market
  • Support business development with tools, pricing strategies, training, and competitive intelligence
  • Collaborate on product development, ensuring alignment with EMEAI needs throughout all project phases
  • Lead effectively by managing talent, resources, and cross-functional collaboration for maximum ROI
