Job description
Overview

Company Description: We are the market leading food and drink 3PL specialist. Culina Logistics ensures that refrigerated goods are stored and shipped in tightly regulated conditions. We are currently recruiting for a Transport Support Clerk to join our Transport team on a full time, permanent basis at our Bristol depot.

Salary: £30,557.00 per annum

Shift: 4 on 4 off Nights

Responsibilities
  • Correctly debriefing drivers
  • Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly
  • Scanning and storing PODs using Culina\'s document management system
  • Preparing drivers\' wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information
  • Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required
  • Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries
  • Downloading drivers\' cards / tachographs
  • Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services
  • Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets
  • Departing loads using Transport Management System (TMS)
  • Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads
Qualifications
  • Attention to detail/ accuracy. Conscientious and reliable
  • Able to work without direct supervision
  • Adaptable approach to work/ training
  • Excellent communication skills in order to deliver accurate information
  • Able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
  • Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines
  • Computer literate, particularly MS Office applications i.e. PowerPoint, Word, Excel or equivalent
  • Able to work as part of a team or individually
  • Able to work effectively and communicate to the correct level
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a major distribution operation
