Qualifications

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate confidently with stakeholders.
  • CPC certification.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of the Control Room management team.
  • Ensure driver compliance processes are adhered to at all times.
  • Monitor and improve performance and health and safety standards.
  • Provide support during peak times and holiday periods.
  • Deliver Despatcher training.
  • Undergo projects as designated by the Control Room Manager.

Overview

Position: Transport Shift Manager | Contract Type: Permanent / Full-time | Location: Baginton, Coventry

Hours: Monday – Friday 09:00–18:30

Responsibilities
  • Work as part of the Control Room management team in order to provide excellent service to both internal and external customers.
  • Ensure driver compliance processes and procedures are in place and adhered to at all times.
  • Work with the Lead Shunter to monitor and improve individual levels of performance and health and safety standards.
  • Provide support to nightshift Control Room team and Regional Linehaul managers during peak times and holiday periods.
  • Review, develop and deliver Despatcher training.
  • Undergo projects as designated by the Control Room Manager.
Qualifications
