Overview

Transport Planner - Junction Modelling & Transport Assessments
Location: Thatcham (Permanent)

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a Transport Planner to work on development planning projects that shape local communities. You will join a multi-disciplinary consultancy delivering high-quality transport planning support to projects across the UK. The role offers support from experienced professionals and exposure to all stages of project delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Junction modelling and capacity assessments
  • Transport Statements and Transport Assessments
  • Travel Plans and Travel Demand Strategies
  • Site access and layout reviews
  • Parking and servicing strategies
  • Pre-application support and planning consultation input
  • Liaising with local authorities, engineers, and other stakeholders
  • Preparing clear technical reports and supporting documentation
Who We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in transport planning, specifically development planning
  • Familiarity with TRICS, Junctions 9 (ARCADY/PICADY), LINSIG, and AutoCAD
  • Clear and concise technical report writing skills
  • Degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or related discipline
