At GTS Transportation, we are working with a well-established logistics company to find an experienced Transport Planner to join their team. About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated professional to handle the day-to-day planning of a 40+ vehicle fleet, including subcontracted operations. The role is central to ensuring smooth logistics operations, maintaining excellent customer service standards, and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage all fleet movements and subcontractor activities
  • Coordinate outbound deliveries and reloads with precision
  • Work closely with drivers, warehouse, and customer service teams to keep operations efficient
  • Liaise directly with customers to handle scheduling and requirements
  • Tackle logistical challenges proactively and adapt to changing demands
Requirements
  • Proven experience in transport planning and fleet management
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in transport planning software and MS Office
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, office-based environment
