Overview

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Compliance & Transport Advisor to join our team in Sherburn, supporting our shared user site. The successful candidate will champion the GXO values in the management and communication of safety, compliance and loss prevention issues for the site’s transport operations.

This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working Monday to Friday, 08:00 till 16:30. We do require flexibility on some occasions, this is logistics after all.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £38,000.00 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day

• Supporting the QHSE Manager, ensuring all transport related safety, compliance and loss prevention matters are dealt with in line with legislation and best practice.
• Support the Transport Manager in ensuring all their legal and company compliance tasks are complete and to the correct standard.
• Review Risk Assessments and Safe System of Work for all tasks carried out within the transport operation.
• Provide regular reports to the Leadership team across the Sherburn site
