Overview

The vacancy is for a dedicated Trainer/Assessor to deliver high-quality work-based learning programmes, support apprentices, and contribute to curriculum development in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.

This is a fantastic opportunity to combine industry expertise with a passion for education, working closely with learners and employers to ensure successful outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver and assess work-based learning in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
  • Manage a caseload of apprentices, supporting their progress and wellbeing.
  • Conduct health and safety monitoring visits and ensure employer risk assessments are in place.
  • Support curriculum development and contribute to bespoke training solutions.
  • Maintain accurate learner tracking and assessment records in line with college and GDPR requirements.
Essential Criteria
  • Recognised qualifications in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning (preferably gained via an apprenticeship).
  • F-Gas Category 1 qualification.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Practical industry experience in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire apprentices, with strong communication and organisational skills.
