London Fire Solutions is looking for a Trainee Technical & Commercial Coordinator to support our growing commercial and operational teams.

This is an entry‑level / trainee role designed for someone looking to build a long‑term career in the fire protection and construction sector. You’ll work closely with senior commercial, surveying and operational team members, gaining hands‑on experience across pricing, coordination, compliance, client communication and site activity.

It’s a varied role with clear development routes into account management, surveying or wider commercial positions as your knowledge and confidence grow.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supply-Only Pricing & Technical Support (Training Provided)

Support the supply-only pricing process under guidance from the sales team

Learn to use CalWin and understand basic certification and compliance requirements

Assist with customer enquiries and prepare draft responses for review

Build product and technical knowledge through training and hands‑on exposure

Take on increased responsibility as experience develops

Premium Front Entrance Door Projects

Support the administration and coordination of premium door projects

Assist with communication between clients, letting agents and Building Control

Track enquiries, orders and project stages from instruction to completion

Help organise subcontractor attendance and project documentation

Support customer feedback, reviews and promotion of annual inspection services

Subcontractor Network Support

Assist the Commercial team in developing and managing the subcontractor base

Gather subcontractor accreditations, compliance documents and key information

Support reference checks and approval processes

Help organise meetings and introductions at Pentland House

Maintain accurate subcontractor records and rate information

Sheltered Schemes & Resident Engagement

Support resident communications, notices and engagement activities

Assist with coordinating information for scheme managers and residents

Attend site visits with fire engineers and assessors to observe and learn

Help prepare specifications, drawings and supporting documentation

Develop technical understanding to better support site and reporting teams

Surveying & Service Contract Support

Provide administrative support to the surveying team

Help organise surveys, inspections and follow‑up actions

Assist with managing records for service contracts and recurring inspections

Communicate with clients to arrange visits and share information under supervision

What We’re Looking For

A keen, organised individual with a genuine interest in construction or fire safety

Good communication skills and confidence dealing with people

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

Comfortable working both in the office and attending site visits

IT-literate and able to pick up new systems and processes

No prior fire industry experience required — full training and support provided.
