Job Title: Trainee Fire Sprinkler Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and practical individual to join our team as a Trainee Fire Sprinkler Engineer. This entry-level role offers hands‑on training and industry‑recognised qualifications in the installation, maintenance, and testing of fire sprinkler systems. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced engineers to develop the skills needed to become a fully qualified Fire Sprinkler Engineer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist senior engineers in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
  • Learn to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Support in identifying faults, carrying out repairs, and replacing components when required
  • Follow company procedures and ensure compliance with relevant fire protection standards (e.g., BS EN 12845, LPCB)
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working condition
  • Complete training modules, attend safety briefings, and participate in assessments as part of professional development
  • Foster positive communication with clients, contractors, and team members on site
  • Ensure health and safety protocols are strictly observed at all times
