Trainee Production Operative

My client is looking to recruit a Trainee Production Operative to join their team on a full time basis. You will be acting as a main part of the food manufacturing process mixing food ingredients for produce. You will be joining a well established team where training will be given for you to be an established cook. The company will be moving to Ashford in 2026 so please only apply if you can drive there also.

Day to day responsibilities
  • Follow tailored recipes ensuring you are weighing out colours, flavours and pectin's.
  • Making 520 batches a day dependent on the amount to be made for clients.
  • Taking digital reads and checking temperatures ensuring it is within guidelines.
  • Ensuring you are keeping the environment clean and tidy including bucket washing, utensils washing and mopping the floor etc.
  • Providing good communication with line management with errors, updates and production productivity.
Requirements
  • Driving License.
  • Good written and oral communication.
  • Have been in a physically demanding role or lifestyle.
  • Outgoing and confident individual.
