Qualifications

  • Must be able to drive; company van provided for appointments.

Responsibilities

  • Work on a 28-day rota, visiting 6-12 sites per day with varied duties across IT hardware auditing, PC cleaning and Data Centre cleaning.
  • Service and maintain delivery lockers at various locations, replacing parts and ensuring systems are in working order.
  • Perform 50% hands-on maintenance and cleaning of technical rooms and computer hardware.
  • Record work performed, hazards found and health and safety requirements using a tablet to write reports.
  • Work remotely to a schedule, often working independently.

Overview

Trainee Mobile Maintenance Technician role based in Stirling area (FK7 0AJ) covering an hours radius into and out of Scotland. Monday - Friday, £23,700 base salary plus overtime (up to £10,000 additional). Hours normally between 8am and 4pm (earliest start 7am; some days may finish later). Company van and fuel card provided. Official UK Government Security Classification check required.

Join a facilities and maintenance company with 35+ years of experience specialising in the maintenance and cleaning of IT, technical hardware and data centres. This is a mobile role on the road visiting various appointments.

  • Work on a 28-day rota, visiting 6-12 sites per day with varied duties across IT hardware auditing, PC cleaning and Data Centre cleaning.
  • Service and maintain delivery lockers at various locations, replacing parts and ensuring systems are in working order.
  • Perform 50% hands-on maintenance and cleaning of technical rooms and computer hardware; liaise with clients to discuss and raise awareness of hazards.
  • Record work performed, hazards found and health and safety requirements using a tablet to write reports.
  • Work remotely to a schedule, often working independently, driving to appointments in the company van and stocking the van with required equipment once per month.
