Reporting To: Contract Supervisor or Operational Managers

Location: Milton Keynes, with travel to project sites as required (generally between Milton Keynes and North London)

Salary Range: £24,000 - £27,000

Job Purpose – Junior Contracts Manager

The Junior Contracts Manager is responsible for assisting in the management of contracts across responsive repair schemes (social housing). This role involves supporting contract supervisors and operational managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Support
    • Assist contract supervisors and operational managers in the planning, coordination, and execution of projects.
    • Monitor project progress and report issues to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
    • Support in managing subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring adherence to project requirements and timelines.
  • Project Coordination
    • Assist in preparing project schedules, timelines, and documentation for contracts.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
    • Attend site meetings, take notes, and assist in managing action points arising from meetings.

    Compliance and Quality Assurance

    • Ensure all projects comply with health and safety regulations and company standards.
    • Assist in quality checks to verify that work meets required standards and specifications.
