HGV Assembly Technician (Semi-Skilled)

Location : Winsford

Rate :

• £13.84 to £15.08 per hour + overtime opportunities

Hours :

MondayThursday : 07 : 3016 : 30 (30-minute unpaid lunch)

Friday : 07 : 3015 : 30 Flexibility required for occasional evenings and weekends.

Role Overview

As an Assembly Technician in our Production department, you’ll support either our specialist bodybuilding team or production line, helping to build high-quality trailer and vehicle bodies. Typical tasks include fitting floors, securing sides, and crafting roofs using materials such as hardwood, fibreglass, steel, and aluminium.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow technical drawings and specification sheets to assemble components
• Work within a team to meet daily production targets
• Use hand tools for fitting, fastening, and finishing tasks
• Maintain strict health & safety standards and adhere to PPE requirements
• Keep your work area clean and organized
• Minimise waste through efficient use and disposal of materials
