Our client is looking for Car Park Marshalls for busy local supermarket with run up to Christmas. Contract to Start beginning December. Full training provided. Full time hours, Mon-Sunday shifts.

A car park marshall's primary role is to manage traffic flow, ensure safety, and assist drivers to prevent congestion and accidents. They direct vehicles to open spaces, guide them through potentially areas, where care must be taken, using hand signals, and help with general queries to provide a smooth and orderly experience for drivers and pedestrians.

  • Traffic management: Directing vehicles to keep traffic flowing efficiently, particularly during peak entry and exit times, and managing congestion. directing cars to free car spaces, ensuring car spaces are clear and cars not parked poorly.
  • Safety and security: Protecting both pedestrians and drivers by preventing accidents, ensuring that all drivers follow safety rules, and sometimes providing a security presence.
  • Vehicle guidance: Assisting drivers in finding parking spaces and guiding them through tight or difficult areas, which is especially important for large vehicles like trucks or cranes on construction sites.
  • Customer service: Providing assistance to visitors with queries, directions, or other needs, and being a friendly, helpful point of contact.
  • Confidence: Being prepared for and managing unexpected situations such as overspill parking, bad weather, or potential emergencies. Working well under pressure.
