Toolroom Team Leader

Orion are working with a heavy industrial manufacturing company who are looking for an experienced, Toolroom Leader to join the team.

Toolroom Leader Salary: £40,354.20

Toolroom Team Leader Responsibilities:

• • Leading a team of 3x Tool Makers
  • Maintaining CNC & die casting machinery – Or similar industrial equipment
  • Supporting production
  • Continuous improvement in tooling
  • Maintenance and production of fixtures
  • Fault finding in compact machinery and spaces
  • Working into senior management to help with the running of the tool room

Toolroom Team Leader Required Experience:

• Manual Turning, Milling, Grinding, Bench Fitting
• Stripping/Assembling of dies and trimtools
• Maintenance of CNC and die casting machinery or similar equipment
• Previous experience working in a tool room environment
• Experience leading a team
• Strong communication skills required
• Problem solving
• Open to industries similar - plastic injection moulding etc..

Toolroom Team Leader Qualifications:

• Apprentice trained ideally or time served
• Tool making – manual machining skillset/background
• Proven experience leading a team in a manufacturing environment

Toolroom Team Leader Package:

• Competitive Salary £40,354.20
• 26 days holiday Bank Holidays
• PM Shift allowance 16% (£2,640 per annum)
• Attendance Allowance £1000 per year
• Death in service
• Pension contribution

Toolroom Team Leader Shifts:

Double Day Shift: 6am – 2pm & 2pm – 10pm
