A leading audiovisual services company in Greater London seeks a Technician to set up and operate audiovisual systems for events. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, delivering world-class customer service, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of customer service experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. This position involves working in diverse venues and may require irregular hours and on-call status.
A Technician is responsible for the set up and operation of audiovisual systems in a event environment while ensuring complete customer satisfaction. This position reports to a Technical Supervisor, Technical Manager, Senior Project Manager or a Technical Events Manager subject to function and region.

Venue/Event spaces
Work is performed in many different environments with exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand and/or dust at times. The working conditions will vary between moderately quiet to noisy volumes. Team members will use high-end audio visual equipment and electrical components, and will be exposed to heights via lifts and ladders. Team members may be asked to work in multiple hotel locations. Working times will include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore.
