Job summary

A staffing agency is currently recruiting for a Tig welder/fabricator in Trafford. The role requires experience in fabricating metal, understanding of engineering principles, and working with various materials like aluminum and sheet metal. Successful applicants will have attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. This is a Temp - Perm position with hours from Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm.

Qualifications

• Experience with CLN machines is highly desirable.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask to meet deadlines.
• Basic understanding of drilling, tapping, threading, and countersinking.

Responsibilities

• Work in environments exposed to odor, noise, and dust.
• Fabricate metal using CLN Bender.
• Installation of LED wiring and LEDs.

Skills

Channel Letter Fabrication experience

Ability to read blueprints

Attention to detail

Understanding of engineering principles

Proficient use of glues and silicones

Overview

Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for a Tig welder/fabricator for our client in the Trafford area.

Contract: Temp - Perm

Hours: Monday - Friday - 7am - 4pm

Responsibilities

• The ability to work in environments exposed to odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
• Channel Letter Fabrication experience preferred.
• Previous experience working with CLN machines.
• Previous experience working with various materials to include aluminium, sheet metal and various plastic materials.
• Ability to read blueprints or drawings preferred.
• Trim capping experience is desirable
• High attention to detail
• A basic understanding of engineering principals (Drilling, tapping, threading, countersinking,)
• The proficient use and application of glues and or silicones.
• Able to prioritise and multitask in order to complete tasks in a timely manner
• Establish tasks set on a daily basis and meeting deadlines
• Attend briefing meetings as and when required
• Follow all principles and practices of sign fabrication.
• Application of Vinyl lettering and logos
• Fabricate metal using CLN Bender.
• Forms material into appropriate shape.
• Installation of LED wiring and LEDs.
