The Role

Rilmac is a market leader of Asbestos, Fabrication, Insulation and Scaffolding services throughout the UK. We have a passion to achieve results and pride ourselves on the skills and expertise of our people. We are currently seeking a TIG / MIG Welder to support our Lincoln based operations.

This well-established company operates across the UK and with the overwhelming growth and demand in the market, the company plan to deliver a wide range of projects in order to expand and build on their already prestigious portfolio. With impressive builds and refurbishments across a variety of sectors including education, healthcare, public sector, leisure, residential, hospitality.

The fabrication team are now looking to recruit a skilled and experienced TIG / MIG Welder to join their experienced fabrication team.

The successful candidate will be conversant at reading engineering drawings, work with the minimum of supervision, be conscientious and work to tolerances time frames and quality requirements.

The successful candidate must be able to work based in the fabrication workshop in Lincoln and may include some outworking.

Coded TIG / MIG welder

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am – 15.30pm; Friday 7am – 14-00pm.

Great Rate per hour (Depending on experience).

Overtime (as and when to suit project requirements): time and a half after 38.5 hours.

Overview of the role of a TIG / MIG welder
  • Read and understand technical design drawing specifications.
  • Complete products to drawings and specifications.
  • Safe use of weld & power / hand equipment (to include grinder).
  • Adherence / control / completion of fabrication documentation to CE standard.
  • Correct use of All PPE - Weld fume & RPE.
  • Ability to consistently weld and fabricate whilst conforming QA requirements.
  • Coded welder – Adherence to all HSE Hot Work Safety Systems.
  • Some confined space work may be required.
Skills & Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years Welding Experience.
  • Proficient in MIG/TIG welding, working with plate and pipework using various metals, carbon steel, stainless steel and Nickel Alloys.
  • Coded welder with previous experience, accreditation and certification gains through approval.
Desirable but not essential
  • Forklift licence / Experience.
  • Rigging / Slinging an advantage.
  • Driving Licence.

  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Should be able to learn new systems and processes as required.
  • A flexible attitude and be willing to pitch in where necessary to support colleagues.
