A leading healthcare provider is seeking a dynamic scheduler to join the team at Royal London Hospital. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient scheduling for patient appointments and surgeries, working closely with multidisciplinary teams. Applicants should have NHS experience and strong communication skills. This is a full-time, fixed-term role with a salary range of £33,094 to £36,195 per annum.
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated team player to take up the position of scheduler to cover maternity leave. The post holder will join the centralised scheduling service responsible for booking patients in for their pre-assessment appointments and surgery at the Royal London Hospital. The department books all surgery in the three operating theatre suites at the Royal London Hospital site. You will work closely with speciality managers and clinicians to monitor performance and develop new approaches to meet scheduling challenges at the Royal London Hospital.

Main duties of the job include ensuring provision of a comprehensive and efficient booking and scheduling service for patients, adhering to the Trust’s Access policy and local access targets. The role requires developing efficient and effective systems of work to ensure patients experience good communication, choice and a personal and responsive service. A consistent approach across the trust will be described by standard operating procedures (SOP) including timescales to be adhered to.
