A healthcare provider in Reading seeks a Theatre Nurse to maintain cleanliness and advocate for patients in a friendly, multidisciplinary team. You will work 37.5 hours over four days without night shifts, Sundays, or on-call duties. Ideal candidates are registered nurses or operating department practitioners with scrub experience. You will be working as part of a friendly, welcoming and expert multidisciplinary Theatre Team supported by our experienced Theatre Manager, Natalie. There is no night working, no Sundays, no bank holidays and no on‑call! You can have more time to do the things you love doing.
You will work 37.5 hours over four days and be responsible for ensuring the continual cleanliness of the theatre and equipment. In this role you will develop and execute the correct procedures for ordering, receiving and transferring blood and blood products, as well as blood conservation. Privacy and confidentiality are key throughout the team. You will act as an advocate for the patient in the intra‑operative phase and be responsible for total patient care in the peri‑operative phase.
