The role involves patient care during the crucial post-operative phase, monitoring recovery and managing complications. The ideal candidate will have current HCPC/NMC registration and 1-2 years of experience in recovery theatres. Theatre Practitioner - Recovery, The Princess Grace Hospital. Full time 37.5 hours per week. Shifts: Monday - Saturday, 3 long days per week. Permanent. Salary: Competitive + Shift enhancement.
Recovery Theatre Practitioner, you will be a crucial member of the perioperative team, specializing in patient care during the critical post-operative phase. You will monitor patients as they emerge from anaesthesia, manage pain, vital signs and overall recovery to ensure a safe and smooth transition from surgery to full consciousness. You will assess patient needs and respond quickly to any complications, providing compassionate care to support patients through their initial recovery.
