Overview

Full-time Band 5 Theatre Practitioner in Elective Orthopaedic Theatres

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the highest standards of care and safety within the Elective Orthopaedic Theatres and in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary teams, implement and maintain systems and processes which ensure standards are maintained
  • Ongoing orientation and mentor support
  • Continuous personal development supported
  • Support colleagues and foster a learning culture which values high quality safe patient care
  • Work in partnership with Orthopaedic colleagues to ensure multi-disciplinary team work in achieving agreed, common goals / outcomes across the Elective Orthopaedic service
  • Flexibility and strong organisational skills
  • Enthusiastic and motivated to improve services
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with peers and junior and senior colleagues
  • Willingness to learn a variety of theatre skills and engage in departmental link roles
