Archive Project Cataloguer – Duncan Grant

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Archive team at Tate Britain. The Archive Project Cataloguer will be responsible for cataloguing the recently acquired Duncan Grant archive collection, preparing material for digitisation, and working closely with the Archive Curator, Archivist, and the wider Library & Archive team.

Responsibilities
  • Arrange, catalogue, and package caches of material primarily relating to Duncan Grant, Vanessa Bell, and David Garnett.
  • Select material for digitisation and prepare it for digitisation.
  • Work flexibly and effectively with the Archive Curator, the Archivist, and the wider Library & Archive team.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, and people skills.
  • Maintain calm and focus under pressure, prioritise activities, and utilise available resources to meet deadlines.
  • Support equality, diversity and inclusion in access and engagement; participate in Reading Room activities.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Academic qualification in Archive and Records Management or a related field.
  • Professional qualification or equivalent professional experience in archives.
  • Experience in cataloguing art archive collections preferred.
