Overview

Test Technician – Location: CV30 Area • Hourly Rate: £16 per hour + holiday pay • Hours: Monday to Friday (normal dayshift) • Contract Length: 6-month contract • Contract Type: Umbrella (inside IR35) • Start Date: ASAP

You'll be part of a small, dynamic, innovation-led team where you’ll play a key role in testing cutting-edge testing that power the future of engineering.

Responsibilities

• Mount and remove transmissions from test rigs.
• Conduct mechanical testing to match agreed specifications.
• Perform basic reworks to resolve issues during testing.
• Prepare end-of-line (EOL) test reports for customers.
• Use MS Excel to log and interpret data, including creating graphs and visuals.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a testing environment (mechanical)
• Excellent computer literacy – especially in Microsoft Excel.
• Team player with a proactive and organised mindset.
• Logical thinker with a strong problem-solving approach.
• Familiarity with LabVIEW testing software.
• Understanding of transmission systems and differentials.
