Overview

My client is seeking a skilled Test Technician to join a growing engineering team. The role involves testing, validating, and troubleshooting electronic products, while supporting process improvements and ensuring compliance with quality standards. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, technical ability, and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out functional testing on products using approved instructions and designated test equipment.
  • Set up and operate test equipment, ensuring calibration requirements are understood and adhered to.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults at component and system level.
  • Record and analyse test results in line with quality and compliance requirements.
  • Operate automated test equipment and related systems where required.
  • Support continuous improvement activities by suggesting and implementing process changes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including logs, reports, and customer-specific records.
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Work to production schedules, achieving test targets without compromising on quality.
The Candidate
  • Previous experience in an electronics test or repair role.
  • Qualification in Electronics Engineering.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and follow procedures.
