Are you an experienced RF Test Technician looking to work on high-technology electronics in a modern, fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are recruiting for an RF Test Technician to join the test team in Andover, Hampshire.

Responsibilities

• Carry out functional testing, programming, and assembly of customer products using bench-top equipment and test software.
• Fault-find to component level, set up ATE test racks, and work to strict customer specifications to ensure products meet the highest standards.
• Investigate returns, monitor yield performance, and feed back solutions to improve processes.

Starting Salary and Hours

Starting salary from £25,065 per annum (increasing after probation) with weekday hours: Monday-Thursday 08:30-17:00, Friday 08:30-15:30.

What do you need?

• GCSE standard education (or equivalent)
• Previous product testing and fault-finding experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes
• Computer literacy and ability to follow technical instructions
• Fine assembly skills using tools and microscopes
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Desirable Experience

• Experience testing PCBs in an RF environment
• Knowledge of RF test equipment (spectrum/network analysers)
• Electronics qualification or equivalent
• Hand soldering skills
