A well established and highly reputable specialist Temporary Works Design Consultancy has an opening for an experienced temporary works design engineer to join their proficient and experienced team at their head office in Esher.
The consultancy has around 70 staff and is the in‑house design arm for a major contractor but also has much of its own external works as well.
You would need to be a highly technical hands‑on structural engineer, with a CV showing significant experience with a range of buildings structures work and leadership roles. Ideally you will be MICE or MIStructE qualified. Geotechnical knowledge would be useful. You must have the full right to work in the UK and be living within commuting distance.
The role will also include some permanent works design and geotechnical works.
You will be given exposure to a wide variety of challenging works, including working on a variety of large buildings design projects often involving high‑profile and complex buildings projects. There will be demolition works, needling and propping, façade retentions, foundation designs, stability and alteration works, basements, geotechnical works and some permanent works.
