Overview

Supply Star Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a successful secondary school on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 if applicable), inspiring students to achieve their best in mathematics.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress, ensuring all students are supported to meet their potential.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including department planning and enrichment activities.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, classroom management, and safeguarding.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
  • Experience teaching Maths at Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable).
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
  • The ability to adapt quickly and work effectively as part of a team.
Requirements
