Temporary Management Accountant - Manufacturing & SAP

Job summary

An established global engineering firm in the UK requires a Temporary Management Accountant to oversee month-end reconciliations, support budgeting, and work on financial training initiatives. Ideal candidates will have experience in management accounting within manufacturing, be proficient with ERP systems like SAP, and have strong Excel skills. The role offers a competitive daily pay rate between £250 to £300, with expectations of 37.5 working hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Manufacturing environment as a Management Accountant or similar role.
• Strong working experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Produce month end account reconciliations for P&L and balance sheet.
• Support year end processes with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Work with Project Accountants for long term contract forecasts.
• Lead business process improvements and financial training initiatives.
• Support in production of annual budgets and forward forecasts.
• Process and reconcile employee expenses and petty cash monthly.
• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns.
