Overview

Our client a welcoming and established Nursery setting are currently seeking a Nursery Practitioner to join their professional & friendly team.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to children in our nursery. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about early childhood education and have a nurturing personality.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in creating a safe and stimulating environment for children
  • Supervise and engage with children during playtime and activities
  • Assist with feeding, diapering, and maintaining cleanliness of the nursery
  • Collaborate with other staff members to plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum
  • Monitor children's behavior and communicate any concerns to the Nursery Manager
  • Maintain accurate records of children's activities, progress, and incidents
  • Foster positive relationships with parents and provide regular updates on their child's development
Qualifications & Experience
  • Level 2 or 3 Childcare & Education or above
  • Previous experience working with young children
  • Knowledge of child development principles and practices
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
  • Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
