Job summary

A leading mental health service provider in Exeter is seeking Tele-coach Practitioners to support individuals in mental health crises through tele-coaching and assessments. Applicants should possess qualifications in health-related fields and have experience working with varied mental health presentations. This role demands excellent communication, the ability to engage with clients under distress, and the capacity to work flexibly across a variety of shifts, ensuring a responsive 24/7 service.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals facing mental health challenges.
• Ability to study at graduate level or equivalent experience.
• Completion of Trust Mandatory Courses.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex mental health assessments via telephone.
• Provide crisis de-escalation and coaching on emotional regulation.
• Support individuals experiencing high levels of distress.

Skills

Assessment, planning, and evaluation

Experience in applying psychologically informed interventions

Education

Qualified to degree level in nursing, social work, or equivalent experience
