A local authority in West Yorkshire is seeking a Technology Technician to support the Design & Technology team. In this role, you will assist in lesson preparation and delivery, maintain classrooms, and follow health & safety procedures. We are seeking to appoint a Technology Technician to join our Design & Technology team. This is an exciting and stimulating role where you will support with both preparation and during the delivery of lessons to students who are keen to learn and achieve. Technology is popular amongst students and enjoys high esteem within the school community. We encourage the enjoyment of Technology through a wide range of interesting and challenging projects. The use of key terminology and the application of different technological advances is key to student academic achievement. The department recognises the importance of applying real world scenarios to design problems and bringing industrial knowledge into the classroom to make links. The Technology department seeks opportunities to enhance student learning through educational visits and extra-curricular clubs, participates in competitions, and promotes environmental responsibility throughout the schemes of work.
