JOB TITLE: Ultrasound Technician / Field Service Engineer

The COMPANY

Our Client is the UK's leading independent expert specialising in the repair and servicing of electronic medical equipment / instrumentation – specifically Ultrasounds. They have earned a deserved reputation for the quality of the service they provide, continually investing in cutting‑edge technology and maintaining a well‑trained, motivated workforce.

The ROLE
  • Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance of machines on client premises and perform simple probe repairs in the workshop.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance at client sites UK-wide (generally hospitals); expect to be on site an average of 3 days a week, with home nights.
  • Provide advice and support to customers.
  • Deliver and collect loan equipment for customers.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with customers.
  • Perform probe repairs in the workshop.
The CANDIDATE
  • Strong team player with a desire to learn and build a career.
  • Experience visiting customer sites, ideally hospitals.
  • Technical background or a bent towards technology.
  • Excellent communication skills – customer‑facing role.
  • High level of dexterity.
  • Valid driving licence.
SALARY

Depends on experience, plus a 10% performance‑related bonus.
