Vehicle Technician at Family-Run Car Dealership in Dartford, Kent

Are you passionate about cars and skilled in vehicle maintenance? Join our clients team at a Family Run Car Dealership based in Welling, Kent, where your expertise will be valued and rewarded!

  • Position: Vehicle Technician
  • Location: Dartford, Kent
  • Salary: Up to £35,000 Basic with £40,000 OTE + Overtime
  • Hours: 8am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday with Saturday mornings on a rota
About Our Client:

A Family Run Car Dealership which is a well-established, family-run business serving the Welling community for over 50 years and counting. Our client takes pride in providing top-quality vehicles and exceptional customer service. Who are now seeking a dedicated Vehicle Technician to join their friendly Workshop team and contribute to their continued success.

Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician with our client:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and identify any safety or maintenance concerns
  • Complete service and repair tasks efficiently and within specified timeframes
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used
  • Uphold our commitment to customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service at all times
  • Preferably an MOT Tester but not essential
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role
  • Qualified to Level 2 NVQ or City & Guilds in light vehicle mechanics
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills
  • Preferably possess an MOT license, but it's not essential (training can be provided)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Valid UK driver's license
