Role Overview

We’re seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join a governance-focused education team, helping develop clear, actionable resources for researchers navigating governance requirements and tooling. This role is ideal for someone passionate about simplifying complex processes into practical, well-structured learning materials that directly support innovation at one of the world’s most recognised technology organisations.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with subject matter experts to understand user needs, workflows, and program objectives
  • Create and maintain educational content and technical documentation tailored to research teams
  • Review and revise content to align with evolving governance programs and user feedback
  • Improve content clarity, usability, and instructional value through strong editorial judgment
  • Communicate progress, flag risks, and ensure timely delivery of documentation
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience in technical writing, product documentation, or online publishing (customer-facing content)
  • Demonstrated ability in technical writing and editing
  • Familiarity with learning design or instructional content creation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong technical background and ability to write for highly technical audiences (e.g., engineers, research scientists)
  • Experience with governance programs, compliance, or regulated environments
  • Previous experience supporting enterprise-scale tech environments
