About the Role

As an Electrical Installations Technical Trainer, you will teach and assess Level 2 & Level 3 apprentices in electrical installations, both in theory and in the workshop/onsite settings. You will plan, deliver, and monitor learning, designing engaging and industry-relevant coursework. You ll work with apprentices to ensure they gain competence, confidence, and meet the required standards, including End Point Assessment as applicable.
You will also liaise with employers and stakeholders to ensure the training meets local and national needs; maintain up to date knowledge of electrical regulations, safety codes including the 18th Edition; and contribute to continuous improvement of teaching practices and curriculum.

Who We re Looking For
  • Hold Level 3 Electrical Installations qualification (or equivalent)
  • Up to date with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • JIB Gold Card highly desirable
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years industry experience, with exposure to both domestic and commercial installations
  • Be willing to work towards teaching/assessing qualifications if not already qualified (e.g. TAQA, A1, teaching qualification)
  • Ideally already a qualified assessor or teacher, but priority will be given to those with strong industry experience
