Job summary

A leading technical support company in Henley-on-Thames is seeking a Technical Support Technician to respond to customer enquiries and provide technical guidance. The role involves diagnosing product issues, supporting service agents, and maintaining high service standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer or technical support, excellent communication skills, and an analytical mindset. This is a permanent position, requiring 35 hours per week.

Technical Support Technician

Permanent

35 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer enquiries across phone and digital channels, offering technical guidance and product advice.
  • Diagnose product and system issues, arranging service agent visits when required and updating CRM records accurately.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and support authorised service agents to ensure high service standards.
  • Process spare parts orders, monitor customer concerns, and report emerging trends to management.
  • Participate in team projects and contribute to continuous improvement across processes and communication.
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a customer support or technical support role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent customer service ability.
  • Confident decision-maker who remains calm under pressure and maintains attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret information, solve problems, and follow issues through to completion.
  • Reliable, self-motivated team player with a flexible approach and positive attitude during change or challenges.
